by the Affiliated Colleges – Regarding.

The Indian Science Congress Association is organising the 98th Science
Congress 2011 at the premises of SRM University, Kattankulathur from
3.1.2011 to 7.1.2011. The Hon’ble Prime Minister of India will be inaugurating
the Science Congress and the theme of the 98th Science Congress is “Quality
Education and Excellence in Scientific Research in Indian Universities”.
A science exhibition titled “Pride of India – Science Expo 2011” has also
been planned during the 98th Science Congress and the exhibition will
showcase the emerging technologies, products and research work of India’s
premier Government, Public and Private Institutions.
The exhibition is an excellent platform to project the giant strides made
by Tamil Nadu in various spheres of Administration, Agriculture, Animal
Husbandry, Communication, Crafts, Dairy, Fire and Rescue Services, Forestry,
Handicrafts, Health and Hygiene, Industry, infrastructure, etc.
All the affiliated colleges of Anna University of Technology Chennai are
requested to take part in the above Science Expo and put up their displays
depicting the various activities of their colleges in the Anna University of
Technology Chennai pavilion. The various prototypes of technical innovations
of their students/faculties may be exhibited so that information of such scientific
innovations reach the public. As this is a prestigious Science Exhibition and
leaders from various Industries and educational field are expected to visit the
exhibition and appreciate the exhibits, the colleges are requested to put up their
exhibits and showcase their activities to those who matter most.
